Ok, I think I’m all caught up
on what we’ve been doing so far this spring. As always, things have been very
busy with work and weekend activities.
Next week, we will be going
on our “big” vacation of the year (two whole weeks—since we’re so “European”
and all now). Just like the past two years, our friend, Andy, will be visiting us
and has chosen a new European destination to visit. We’ll be meeting him in
Barcelona and the also hopping over to Porto, Portugal. Now the kicker is….we’ll
be DRIVING to Barcelona.
Our rough itinerary is:
May 13: Cologne – Freiburg,
Germany
May 14: Freiburg – Lucerne,
Switzerland – Lake Como, Italy
May 16: Lake Como – Nice,
France
May 18: Nice – Cubelles,
Spain
May 19-23: Barcelona with
Andy
May 24-27: Porto with Andy
May 27: Barcelona – Andorra la
Vella, Andorra
May 28: Andorra – Orleans,
France
May 29: Orleans – Cologne
May 30: BACK TO WORK!
Are we crazy??? … Possibly
Won’t it take forever??? …
Probably
Will it make for great
stories, fun memories, and beautiful pictures??? …Definitely
